From a single, beloved recipe to a global phenomenon, the journey of Knead 2 Know Bakery began in 1924 with a simple swirl of cinnamon and an abundance of heart. In Suspecho, Kansas, brothers Arthur and Bartholomew McCann established their bakery, inspired by their mother’s legendary cinnamon swirl loaf.
What started as a modest mail-order operation from their family kitchen soon captured hearts and taste buds, expanding to serve customers across all 50 states and over 30 countries. While our offerings have grown to include a delightful array of muffins, cupcakes, and artisan breads, the original cinnamon swirl loaf remains the unwavering heart of Knead 2 Know.
Even a century later, the warmth and tradition of that first recipe continues to draw in generations, especially during the bustling holiday seasons.
